This walk on the Dengie Peninsular, between Bradwell Waterside and Southminster, follows the coast from the River Blackwater estuary down to the start of St Peter's Way at the saxon chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall. It then follows St Peter's way inland, before turning south to Southminster. Except for entering Southminster at the end of the walk, there is a minimum of road walking involved.
Use OS Explorer Map 176; alternatively, OS Landranger Map 168.
